From 4 to12

Hey guys, now when you see a title like from 4 to 12 you think call centre, don’t you,  some of you might even dare say college, but no, this was 4 am to 12 pm. I slept early last night, slightly ill, extremely sleepy, for some weird reason. Got a call from my friend at 11 who got a tad bit angry that I was out cold. And then got a call from my best friend and classmate Siddhartha at 3. I cut the call, he kept calling me till I finally said fuck it and woke up. Now to all those who have been shaken out of their sleep by a call, don’t you feel like saying fuck you to the caller. Same sentiment, slightly dulled by the sleepiness yet extreme in every sense, ran through my head. All that anger and feeling of sleep went down the drain as soon as he said, “Dude, wake up, I’ll be at your place with PD and Shahrukh in an hour. Be ready, we are going to Agra”. For the attention of my new friends, PD is Shruti Sharma, Sid’s girlfriend and Shahrukh is a common friend, whom I hit it off with because we share a common passion for liquor and all things condemned (Sandwiches, if you have seen How I met your Mother) So early morning blues had to take a backseat as I got dressed, Picked up the bottle, a couple sodas and headed off to Agra.

The best part of the trip was that we never got there. Even better was ma and bhai didn’t wake up when I told them that I have to go. And nobody found out I was gone!! And the best part, Shahrukh snoring by my side on the back seat as sid and Pd got a bit comfy. Now all that might make the trip seem a bit boring to you guys, but it wasn’t. It was hilarious in fact, waking up at four, heading off to a destination you know you aren’t going to reach. Having sandwiches and drinks on the way and stopping for the traditional Aloo ka paraantha and Kaali daal, along with tea before turning back. Listening to awesome music. College life is a bliss!!! Now to my daily chores. The day has started on an awesome note, wish me luck as I go through it!!!
